Moretta Community Development Foundation (MCDF) and Student Tech Camp Collaborate for Student Success.
Expanded Learning Programs (ELP). The MCDF SYSTER Project STEAM youth empowerment programs connect students to discovery, creativity and the joy of learning. ELPs braid enrichment activities, critical thinking projects, resources and support services to build pathways of personal skills, learning opportunities and connections to meaningful careers and work in the 21st-century job sectors that match their skills and interests.
Knowledge. Skills. Abilities. Community STEAM teachers, parents, advocates and stakeholders in tech, education, wellness, entertainment, media & arts are committed to helping students identify and reach their education and career goals. Mentors collaborate to increase access to enriching and supportive in-person and online learning environments. Program services deliver innovative career exploration, goal-setting, internship opportunities and interactive, hands-on learning activities that apply student learners' personal knowledge, skills and abilities.
