INNOVATE. ELEVATE. THRIVE.
The Moretta Community Development Foundation's (MCDF) Entrepreneurship Program empowers micro-entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Inland Empire of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, with a focus on women innovators and entrepreneurs. Our program offers comprehensive support to help historically underinvested communities, under-resourced entrepreneurs and businesses thrive, drive economic empowerment, foster innovation and create meaningful STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, agriculture, aviation, aerospace, AI and mathematics) jobs and wealth.
SYSTER Project : EmPowerHer Business Entrepreneurship Program. Through access to technical assistance, workshops, mentoring, and access to capital, we expand economic opportunities and equip participants with business skills around entrepreneurship and resources needed for business planning, financial management, and leadership. By prioritizing historically disadvantaged communities, specifically underserved, underbanked Black women and girls, we aim to create economic stability, and to ignite inclusive economic development, transforming the region's economic landscape and promoting a vibrant, healthy and resilient economy for all.
The MCDF and collaborative partners recognize entrepreneurs and small businesses play a key role in the overall health of our nation's economy. Entrepreneurs rise each day determined to move their dreams of business opportunities forward. Along with our network of partners, we're proud to respond to the challenges these business owners face by dismantling entrenched inequitable systems, supporting their short-term needs to help them grow and scale. #FullSTEAMAhead. #EmPowerHerIE.
